Botrytis research field day

Late season botrytis is a big risk. Over the past few years, changes in market MRLs have meant we have very few chemicals left to deal with botrytis after berry set. However, a NuFarm chemical – Botector – is registered for use right up until harvest, but it can’t be used in the same way as other chemicals.

Two DFA members, David Lyons and Daryn Gardner, have worked with NuFarm to trial this product on their properties. Before harvest begins, it’s time for a field day to have a look at the product, hear from NuFarm on how to use it, and listen to advice from botrytis research guru Bob Emmet.
