Harvester field day

This event will help growers plan for a more efficient harvest in 2023. Join us to have a look at five different harvesters and hear from their operators about what works well and not so well when it comes to trellis type and canopy management.

A difficult harvest season, with adverse weather and limited harvester availability, has shown the limitations in harvesting all fruit from the vine if trellis and canopy management were not set up for the harvester you used. It is surprising how decisions made earlier in the season can influence how well different harvesters can remove fruit from the vine.
