Pruning & Nutrition Field Walk

We are making our first tentative return to field walks.

At the event, we will discuss pruning techniques, including a lower-cost process used by Ashely Johnstone and Warren Lloyd and a simplified technique David Lyons has used for vines that are planned for removal in the next couple of years.

There will also be an opportunity to look at our 10 Tonne Project demonstration and benchmarking sites, get an update on our mechanised pruning project, and discuss some new tools for working out annual fertiliser programs. The event will finish with a barbecue.

We need to be COVID-19 safe, so everyone must register before the event so we can ensure we meet all physical distancing requirements. We are limited to 20 people. Contact Stuart to register at projects@driedfruitsaustralia.org.au.
