Event Details
Dried Fruits Australia and Agriculture Victoria are working together to help dried grape growers use free and up-to-date satellite imaging to better manage their plantings. NDVI images from either satellites or drones can be very useful in identifying management issues in vineyards.
This month we are running an online workshop on using NDVI satellite imagery from the IrriSAT platform to help improve irrigation decision making. If you haven’t heard about IrriSAT, here’s a video explaining what it’s all about.
To register your interest, please contact Stuart Putland at projects@driedfruitsaustralia.org.au.
If you need help getting your computer and internet connection sorted for online learning, please let us know before the event and we can do a trial run.
